About

Pablo Avanzini
Ferrol, Spain 1963

I have pursued my desire for artistic expression since childhood, initially studying pastel, watercolor and oil painting with spanish artist Francisco Castillo, attending his workshops in his home in Kensington, Baltimore, MD.

Self-taught photographer, my interest in photography began in the mid- 70's with my first camera, a Keystone Everflash 310. In 1989, I bought a Canon EOS 620, embracing digital photography from 2004. I have always been fascinated by the process of making photographs and it has given me great satisfaction.

My interest in rural and urban landscape, the tall ships and especially seascapes, has pushed me to develop a photographic and editorial activity. My work has been published in journals, photography books and displayed in art galleries. Some of my images have been purchased by private collectors.

I try to learn by studying, interacting with other photographers and through continued practice, with the goal of improving each element of the photographic process, from the visualization of the possibilities of a scene, to the capture and production of a photography of extraordinary artistic as well as technical quality.

About Our Prints

All images are available as Fine Art Prints, Royalty Free or Rights Managed.

All photographs are printed using museum quality pigment inks (Giclée) printed on professional quality 100% cotton art paper. Giclée is an advanced digital printing technology using archival quality inks that are finely projected on paper or canvas.

Digital Giclée printing provides superior color accuracy and incredible detail over other methods of reproduction. Today we can find Giclée prints at the Metropolitan Museum of New York, as well as galleries and auction houses around the world.

Note: The greatest effort has been made so that the online photo galleries reliably reflect the quality of printed photos, however due to  limitations of the web and differences in settings of individual monitors, color of printed photographs may vary slightly from that shown in the photographs in this web site.
